For the last 7 years Geoff has been travelling to the Cook Islands to undertake various valuation assignments.  The initial impetus was a directive from the Land Court Judges to have a better quality of evidence presented to the Land Court Hearings.  Such hearings often involved reviews of land rentals within the sixty year leases. 

The initial requirement for rental reviews continues, but the work has evolved to include compensation for lease extensions, adjustments to land boundaries, compensation for land proposed to be acquired by the Cook Islands Government, and Litigation involving valuation matters.

Clients include agents, Barristers and Solicitors, the Cook Islands Investment Corporation, and various landholders and lessees including Resorts.

The majority of the work is on Rarotonga, but visits have also been undertaken to Aitutaki, Atiu, Mauke and Mitiaro.
